Our team provided comprehensive architectural and interior design services for a new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), thoughtfully planned to balance efficiency, patient safety, and a welcoming environment. The design supports both clinical excellence and patient comfort while meeting stringent healthcare regulatory standards.

The ASC features four fully equipped Operating Rooms, designed with optimal adjacencies to Pre-Op, PACU, and the Sterile Processing Department. The Pre-Op Recovery Rooms and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) are arranged for streamlined circulation, allowing staff to provide continuous oversight of patients throughout the surgical journey. The Sterile Processing Department is strategically located to ensure efficient clean/dirty separation and compliance with infection control standards.

A centrally positioned Nurse Station provides clear sightlines to patient care areas, ensuring efficiency and patient safety. Support spaces, including medication rooms, equipment storage, and staff amenities, are integrated into the design for operational flow and convenience.

The public side of the ASC includes a welcoming main lobby and waiting area, reception, ADA-compliant restrooms, and family consult rooms. Administrative areas include offices, conference space, and staff support facilities, carefully planned to foster collaboration while maintaining privacy.

To support staff efficiency and well-being, the design incorporates dedicated staff parking and secure access points, separating public and clinical flows. This enhances safety while reducing congestion in patient areas.

The completed design positions the ASC as a high-performance, patient-focused facility, supporting surgical excellence, operational efficiency, and a positive patient and staff experience.
