This project involved the design and construction of new patient wings within an occupied hospital, requiring meticulous planning to maintain safety and minimize disruption to ongoing operations. The buildout delivers 36 patient Rooms, supported by staff work areas, clean and soiled utility rooms, storage, and other essential support spaces.

The design emphasizes efficient clinical workflows and patient-centered care. Exam and patient rooms are arranged to optimize visibility from central nursing stations, while support spaces are strategically located to reduce staff travel distances.
Special attention was given to phasing, infection control, and noise mitigation, ensuring that construction activities did not impact the hospital’s day-to-day patient care. Interior finishes balance durability and hygiene with a calming atmosphere that enhances both staff efficiency and patient comfort.
